X Corp., formerly known as Twitter, is involved in multiple legal disputes. In June 2023, the National Music Publishers' Association, representing major publishers such as Universal Music Group and Sony Music Publishing, Latest lawsuits sued X Corp. for approximately $250 million over alleged copyright infringement involving about 1,700 songs. In March 2024, a U.S. district judge upheld parts of the lawsuit against X Corp., allowing the case to proceed.
